I have updated this item with this new post which is a Japanese knife carving for opening letters . this is made of multi bone in sections that has on one side an erotic scene and on the other side is a fishing scene. both sides are beautifully carved and have the turn of the century ageing patterner all over this item. although the purpose of this item is to open letters it also doubles up as a nice display piece .
